Draper of Glastonbury is the home of British sheepskin slippers. We are a family run business with over 85 years of experience in manufacturing the best quality British sheepskin slippers in our factory in Somerset. Our team of skilled craftsmen and women have generations of experience working with sheepskin, and the Glastonbury area itself has been famous for sheepskin since the 12th century when the monks of Glastonbury Abbey began tanning skins.

British made moccasin slippers are made by hand from start to finish, and take around four weeks to finish. We have a huge range of styles, including mules (backless), Grecian slippers and moccasins too, for both men and women. Our sheepskins, leathers, and suede are from the UK, and we offer both rubber sole and suede sole slippers depending on your preference.English sheepskin slippers are what we specialise in; our designs are English with popularity worldwide, and we also include some international designs too.
During the industrial revolution when Britain was the workhouse of the world, Glastonbury was the area where sheepskin products, and in particular slippers, were produced. Lots of factories produced slippers locally, and we employed over four hundred skilled staff to make our sheepskin products. Sheepskin slippers made in Great Britain are hard to find because we are one of the only factories left that make sheepskin slippers in the UK. As we are the oldest, we are therefore the most experienced makers of slippers, and our quality is unbeatable.
